- Additional Information: Chivas Regal 12 Blended Scotch is one of the most revered Scotch whisky blends, and often described as the perfect marriage of grain and malt whiskies. Refined, soft, juicy, and exploding with fruit and grain flavors, Chivas is great all-rounder Scotch for any occasion and especially given its low price. Its malts include Strathisla, Longmorn, Miltonduff, The Glenlivet, and Strathclyde, to name a few. Especially good as a “dinner out” dram since almost all restaurants carry it in stock.

- Rating*: 3
- Nose: Caramel, almonds, vanilla, honey, bananas, and custard. Grain as well as malt evident.
- Palate: Medium-bodied, slightly sweet with notes of pumpkin pie, anise, cream, toffee, and maltiness. Hints of hot cocoa, heather, and orchard fruits.
- Finish: Warm and lingering. Smooth cereal and oatmeal, hints of black pepper, butterscotch, and winter spices, and finally, the malt.
