REVIEW
- Rating*: 4
- Nose: Intensely smokey with a subtle backdrop of the sea- brine, tar, and salt air. Notes of dried fruits, raisins, and a hint of toffee.
- Palate: Medium-bodied with textbook islay flavors- peat, tar, smoke, and iodine, but balanced with notes of clean malt and tea.
- Finish: Warm black pepper and a slightly gritty mouth-feel followed by a long warm glow of smoke and peat. Definitely not for novice scotch drinkers!
